Located in the heart of Eisenstadt, the medieval tower is hidden in a romantic and quiet backyard on the historic Joseph-Haydn-Gasse. The property is furnished with a luxurious finish, offering a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, an open living room with a fire place and a spacious ensuite bedroom at the upper floor overlooking the garden and the city park “Schlosspark”. The "Turm am Schlosspark" is newly renovated and open to guests since May 2020. Please note that the Garden can be booked separately to the house, such as for outdoor yoga classes taking place twice a week. Guest are welcome to participate in the yoga classes.
Designed and run by a local family, the “Turm am Schlosspark” welcomes with the unique experience to stay within the historic rural walls & tower of the city. Located in the heart of Eisenstadt, the property is a historic landmark itself, as it is one of the two towers of the old rural city wall, built around 1534 to defend the city against the Turkish invasion. The bedroom offers a view into the Schlosspark overlooking a small pond. From May to September, the city's outdoor pool is open to guest and only a 2min walk away from the property. For tennis players, the city's court are located in the park, a short walking distance from the venue. During your stay, enjoy the relaxing garden, use the outdoor kitchen and have a coffee at the pond, filled with fresh water coming from a small river that runs through the garden.
