After decades Umming and Ahhing about having a footprint in the Alps, I finally took the plunge and became the owner of this wonderful apartment in Piesendorf, with views to Kaprun and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. I am an avid skier and qualified Austrian Skilehrer and love the mountains and am especially in love with this area. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Piesendorf is a pretty village close to Zell am See and Kaprun, surrounded by excellent skiing, walking and cycling trails. In the village within 5 minutes' walk, is a ski rental shop, bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, children's playground and several bars and restaurants with food delivery options. Ski buses from the village centre (250m) run to Zell am See and Kaprun and the local train also runs along the valley floor from Zell am See all the way to Krimml. In Summer there is an open-air pool, with slides and grassy sunbathing areas, tennis courts and a skate park. Kaprun/Zell am See have numerous apres ski options, shopping, live music and a variety of restaurants. Take a dap trip to see the beautiful and historic cities of Salzburg and Innsbruck.
