Alistair (Ali) & Denise, your hosts at Pension Haus Maria, are originally from the south of England. Having spent well in excess of 30 years each in their respective careers, they welcomed the opportunity to move to Austria, a country they had frequented over the years. They moved to Austria and Pension Haus Maria in 2010. They love meeting people from all of the world and running a Bed & Breakfast has provided a perfect opportunity to do so. They do not see this as just providing a roof over a visitors head. They try to interact with the guests as much or as little as the guests prefer and are keen to pass on their knowledge of the area and go that extra mile to ensure the guests get the most enjoyment out of their stay. Lovers of the mountain environment, they found Ramsau to be perfect for them. Keen motorcyclists, the fantastic roads through The Alps and beyond are right on their doorstep. They are keen to take advantage of what the region has to offer from local culture and festivals to the beauty of wandering through the mountains and taking part in the many activities on offer.
