This 2 bedroom apartment, with stunning mountain views from every window, is situated on the ground floor of a family house, on edge of village location, and is very private and peaceful. Walk to ski lift/slopes within 5-10 minutes. Haus has arguably some of the most panoramic, and best skiing in Europe - awarded joint first with Kitzbuhel as ' Best Ski area 2013'. The apartment was redecorated winter 2020, with new furnishings throughout, including curtains with blackout linings in both bedrooms. It has new fully equipped kitchen (2021) with: cooker, 4 ring electric hob, fridge microwave and dishwasher. There is off road parking for 2 cars. Summer cards are provided (May-Sept), giving access to many local amenities/activities. There is central heating throughout with additional heated floors in bathroom, Kitchen and Hallway - perfect for drying ski boots.There are many traditional local restaurants within a 10 minute walk, all with a warm welcome. There are miles of marked cycling and hiking routes from the door. Summer Cards are included in price end May to mid October. Open plan private garden via French doors, (young children need supervision) to enjoy the fantastic scenery.

Family life is very important to us, and we treasure our wonderful natural environment. We have skied in many European locations over the last 25 years, but once we arrived in Haus, we knew we had found our perfect place! The skiing is excellent, and the views are breathtaking - in both summer and winter, but a cautionary note - you can waste hours just looking and taking in the beauty. The local residents are as lovely as the views, and we really like the fact that every one says hello as you pass in the street. Unfortunately our German has not really improved over the years we have had the apartment, as our neighbours all speak really great English! We take a lot of time and effort maintaining the property, which is our pride and joy! Cleanliness is also very important to us, and we constantly check the property to ensure it is maintained to our own high standards. We really hope our guests will find this area as special as we do!

Haus im Ennstal could be described as one of the most beautiful villages, not only in Austria but in Europe - winning the European Entente Florale in 2013 for its floral tributes, green energy, and friendly village community! The village is peaceful, with many traditional festivals intersperced throughout the summer often found around village square and bakery. There is a large pool in the village (with adjourning area with children's feature slide), tennis courts, and pit-pat. Summer cards offer free or discounted entry to over 100 local attractions. Miles of hiking trails are well marked, and can start at the door of the apartment. The same applies to cycling routes, and of course there is a European cup down hill track in the next village. Haus is an ideal place from which to tour with the historic Salzburg just an hour away, Werfen (where Eagles dare fame), Berchesgarten, and the Austrian lakes between 30 - 60 minutes. There are mountain spring filled pools within a 10 minute drive, offering a re-energising swim, or travel a little further for the Thermes. Within 3-4 hours you could drive to Vienna or Venice, and the Austrian vineyards are 2 - 2.5 hours drive away.
