A Bed and Breakfast with 5 rooms located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site "Wachau" with all rooms facing the Danube River directly. Located nearby are beautiful baroque towns and century-old vineyards. Enjoy the scenery via bicycle, car, boat or simply by foot. The Danube River bicycle path passes the house directly, which circumvents the entire Wachau. To cross the longest river in Europe, use the cable ferries in the vicinity. There are multiple hiking trails, including the Wachau World Heritage Trail, following old roman paths through the "Dunkelsteiner" woods, along the Danube's wine terraces, through churches and feudal ruins. The unique location, mild climate and delicious wines make Anna's Landhaus a perfect hideaway.

After a professional working career of more than 20 years in world renowned international companies, I decided for a bed and breakfast and explore further my interest in people and food. Apart from German, I speak English, Chinese (Mandarin) and Bahasa Malaysia and offer regional and an exotic kitchen using seasonal produce only and when available, produce from my organic garden.

Bacharnsdorf lies on the southern bank of the river Danube, in the heart of the Wachau, and directly on the Danube bicycle path and the Wachau world heritage trail. It belongs to the municipal of Rossatz in the district of Krems an der Donau. There is a ferry to the northern bank to Spitz, Weißenkirchen and Dürnstein. It pays to make a stop at Bacharnsdorf where there are still remains of ancient Roman settlements. One can enjoy the hospitality of the traditional “heurigen” and taste wonderful wines and schnaps from the Wachau.
